Enjoy the luxurious, first-class parlor car and a selection of wine, cheese and crackers as you travel down the tracks to Paradise, PA and back! Our wine events include our popular Wine & Cheese Train, available select evenings, April through November and our twice-yearly Wine Tastings aboard the train.
ATTENTION: People riding aboard the First-Class Parlor Car on designated Wine & Cheese Trains must be 21 years or older. Photo ID is required to board the Car.
July 23 and August 13, 2010 at 7:00 pm
On two dates only, Strasburg Rail Road is hosting a special wine tasting aboard the train. Relax and enjoy several wine selections, a presentation by a wine educator and a 45-minute train ride.
July 23 will feature Twin Brook Winery, of Gap, PA. Twin Brook's family of fine wines includes varietals made from vinifera and hybrid grapes, as well as delicate blends.
August 13 will feature Nissley Vineyards, of Bainbridge, PA. Nissley produces a wide variety of estate-bottled wines made from grapes grown in their 50-acre vineyard.
The $35 fare includes First-Class accommodations on the Parlor Car and complimentary wine, cheese and crackers. Beer, mixed drinks, premium wines, non-alcoholic hot and cold beverages are also available for purchase.

Beer, wine and spirits may be purchased while riding aboard the First-Class Parlor Car, Lounge Car, and Dining Car at any time the train is in motion. Photo ID is required when purchasing alcoholic beverages.
