Celebrate Easter With A Train Ride

Welcome spring on a ride through beautiful farmland with the Easter Bunny as your conductor! Kids are sure to be delighted with a special surprise as the Easter Bunny greets them on board this memorable steam train – a Strasburg Rail Road tradition for generations! The Easter Bunny and his helpers will be aboard the train to visit with each family and pose for photos. In addition, each child receives a small gift from the bunny himself!

New for 2025

Candy Drops, hosted by the Easter Bunny and his friends, will occur at 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, and 5:00 PM, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, at a designated location along our pedestrian mall area. Children aboard the train will receive a colored wristband that will grant them access to a specifically-timed Candy Drop, which will begin 15 minutes after the train returns to the station. (Note: There is no candy drop after the 6:00 PM train; guests with 6:00 PM tickets may attend the 5:00 PM time slot.) Immediately after your train ride, head over to the candy drop area to try to collect as much Easter candy as possible!

COACH CAR

Our standard coaches are beautifully restored in authentic Victorian style. Enjoy the comfort of potbelly stove heat during cold days of if the weather is warm, open the windows for some fresh air.
