Easter Lunch Train Ride

Welcome the spring season aboard our special Easter train ride experience with the Easter Bunny as your conductor! The Easter Bunny and his helpers will be aboard the train to visit with each family and pose for photos. In addition, each child receives a small gift from the bunny himself!

This experience is great for the whole family. A Strasburg Rail Road tradition for generations, this event sells out fast, so book your ride now!

New for 2025

Candy Drops, hosted by the Easter Bunny and his friends, will occur at 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, and 5:00 PM, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, at a designated location along our pedestrian mall area. Children aboard the train will receive a colored wristband that will grant them access to a specifically-timed Candy Drop, which will begin 15 minutes after the train returns to the station. (Note: There is no candy drop after the 6:00 PM train; guests with 6:00 PM tickets may attend the 5:00 PM time slot.) Immediately after your train ride, head over to the candy drop area to try to collect as much Easter candy as possible!

Enjoy freshly prepared food onboard the train. The prices shown are the ticket prices. Relax in climate-controlled comfort. Food selections and food payment for the Lunch Train are made at the time of purchase/reservation.

Lee E. Brenner Dining Car

The Lee E. Brenner Dining Car — America’s oldest operating all-wood dining railcar — recreates the traditional dining experience you would have experienced aboard an early 20th-century railroad. During the Edwardian era, dining on the rails was quite sophisticated. What now serves as Strasburg Rail Road’s dining car was built by the Laconia Car Company in 1926 and ran on the Boston & Maine Railroad until 1972. After its retirement in 1972, it arrived at the Strasburg Rail Road. It was rebuilt in 1993 and renamed for Strasburg’s second president, Lee E. Brenner.

Alcoholic drinks must be consumed before exiting the train; alcohol is not permitted off the train. Strasburg Rail Road is not permitted to serve alcoholic drinks while the train is berthed in the Station.
