Join us as we celebrate the fall season with a fun celebration at Groff’s Picnic Grove! On September 28 at 4:00 pm or 6:00 pm, hop aboard the historic steam train for a ride through Amish country, then disembark at Groff’s Picnic Grove for a 40-minute layover as you enjoy live music, games, and pumpkin decorating.

Included with each guest ticket is:

• A 45-minute steam train ride through Amish Country
• Complimentary “Field Trip” (aka Mystic) pumpkin for each child
• Live music by local musicians and SRC team members
• Fun fall activities

Also available for purchase at Groff”s Picnic Grove:

• Fall-themed, grab-and-go sweet treats from Cafe 1832 will be available for sale.

• Please allow ninety (90) minutes for this experience.

About Groff’s Grove:

Ride the train to our convenient Groff’s Picnic Grove  – a recreational area along the train’s route. Board the train at the East Strasburg Station with your picnic basket or cooler, and let your trainman know you wish to get off at our grove! Swings, a merry-go-round, and seesaws will entertain the kids while you sit back and enjoy the bucolic view of Lancaster County’s Amish Country. Amenities at Groff’s Grove include picnic tables, charcoal grills, hand-pumped potable water, and porta-potties.
