The summer of 1863 comes alive as the Union Army defends the railroad from the advancing Confederate troops aboard the historic steam locomotive as it travels through 2,500 acres of the picturesque Lancaster County Amish countryside.

From the moment you enter, you are immediately thrust into a turn-of-the-century reality that you cannot escape. Or can you? Unleash your inner detective as you enter the mystery and try to escape an old stationary PRR Caboose and/or Coach Car in our Town Square.

The Wild Bunch brings the legendary outlaws, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, to life in an action-packed historical adventure. Come aboard the Strasburg Railroad this summer for a thrilling ride into the Wild West!

Private Charter opportunities aboard Strasburg Rail Road’s historic Caboose No. 12. It is ideal for groups of up to 10 guests.

Constructed in 1925, this cozy accommodation provides a glimpse of what it may have been like to be a crew member of an early 20th-century steam train. Climb into the cupola seats for a truly unique view of the train.

Local haunted legends come alive in this unique experience aboard a climate-controlled Coach car. Available October 4 through November 2.

In the railroad industry, the word “hostling” means the process of preparing a steam locomotive for operation. On this tour, guests receive a unique, up-close, and behind-the-scenes view of how a steam locomotive is prepared for the day’s operation. This tour is limited to just 10 people.
