As the notorious gang of outlaws sets its sights on robbing the passengers aboard the train at the Strasburg Rail Road, a group of determined Pinkerton agents are hot on their trail, ready to stop them at any cost!

But Butch Cassidy, known for his refusal to kill, faces a dilemma—will he keep his code of honor, or will this heist push him past the point of no return? It’s a battle of wits, will, and gunfire as history comes alive on the rails in this high-stakes, heart-pounding production. The Strasburg Rail Road’s The Wild Bunch takes place in multiple locations — around the “town square” stage and on the historic train riding through the picturesque fields in the heart of Amish country.

The Wild Bunch features a costumed professional cast of actors who have performed around the world with companies including Warner Bros., Celebrity Cruises, Holland America Line, and Broadhollow Theatre Co. in New York and/or locally at Lancaster’s American Music Theatre, Sight & Sound Theatre, Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, the historic Fulton Theatre, and more.

A pre-boarding act/performance will commence 15 minutes before departure. Please plan to arrive early for check-in and then enjoy the pre-boarding performance before you embark on a memorable journey.

Coach Car

Our standard coaches are beautifully restored in authentic Victorian style. Enjoy the comfort of potbelly stove heat during cold days. During warmer weather, open the windows for some fresh air.
